Professor Bart P. Roccoberton (U.S.A.)

Graduated from the University of Connecticut in the United States majoring in Puppet Arts, Professor Roccoberton is a professional puppet artist for over twenty-five years. He was sent as an American Cultural Specialist to work with professional puppet companies throughout China. He is also the Producer for the first Connecticut International Festival of Puppet Arts. In 1995, Roccoberton received a major award from the New England Theatre Conference in recognition of his work in puppetry in New England and throughout the world.

Ms. Hua Hua Zhang (U.S.A.)

Born in China, Zhang was trained as a performer in the ancient Chinese tradition of rod puppetry in China and was also a graduate of the University of Connecticut in the United States. From 1974 to 1995, she performed with China Puppet Arts Troupe of Beijing for a 33-city performance tour of the United States, Canada, Thailand and Brazil. Besides, her skills in puppet design and construction are also ingenious.
