Shanghai Puppet Troupe was set up on June 1st, 1960. It is a national degree art ensemble that includes playwrights, directors, actors and actress, stage designers, music composers, conductors and puppet designers and makers. There are more than 120 members in the troupe now. Shanghai Puppet Troupe has created and performed more than 150 performances. The wonderful performances are introduced to U.S.A, Japan, Germany, etc and are always warmly welcomed by the foreign audiences.
